About Moon Song

I have fifteen years of experience teaching in public schools, spanning from kindergarten to community college. I conducted huge choirs, small ensembles, learned how to teach beginning orchestra, taught class piano and guitar, music-directed huge productions and self-directed lots of small ones, too. Along the way, I've written songs and performed solo, as well as in choirs and folk and indie bands.

In 2021, I launched my independent teaching studio. I have beginners, song writers, performers, professional hobbyists, students who are local, students who live as far as Seattle! Come join us--I'd love to have you!
